Urban Forestry Research Supervisor

• Supervised undergraduate fellows for the Human-Environment Regional Observatory (HERO) in urban forestry research project. Supervised data collection, use of ArcGIS field maps, in person interviews, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.

GIS Project Assistant

• Worked closely with a Clark professor in collaboration with the Gitga'at Nation to create maps of shipping routes, trap locations, wildlife sightings, and more. Designed, edited and organized a 60 plus page annual report for the First Nation.

Head Editor

• Head editor for the organization newsletter, "Global Warning", conducted independent research on environmental issues, worked in a team to update website, and wrote and presented reports at weekly meetings.

Piedmont Environmental Council Fellowship

• Learned about environmental non-profit work and presented a two-week practicum project that assessed vacant land in an adjacent town for PEC using ArcGISOnline.

Sustainability Outreach Intern

• Maintained field station, led tours, educated community, constructed, and maintained trails, and conducted research for sustainability.

The Ecological Factor: Culvert Assessment for Replacement or Removal in Northampton, MA Capstone Project, Smith College

• Developed a Spatial Ecological Assessment using ArcPro to create a rigorous set of criteria and methodology for conducting pre- and post-assessment of culverts and identified a list of high-priority culverts for replacement or removal in Northampton MA.

Palma Africana (Elaeis guineensis) In Shushufindi, Ecuador: Comparison of Land Use in Smallholder vs DANEC S.A Monocrops Plantations SIT Ecuador Comparative Ecology and Conservation

• Used Google Earth Pro to identify crop type and area occupied by smallholder crop holders, calculated the amount of Rondo (Glyphosate) needed to cover Danec S.A.’s monocrop; and compared the environmental impacts, like pesticide use, of diverse smallholder agriculture to Danec S.A’s African palm oil monocrop.

GIS Consultant for Miyawaki Forest Monitoring Project

• Worked with a Clark professor in a directed study to assist Worcester in planting two Miyawaki, or "Micro" Forests. Monitored and evaluated the local environmental impact of the forests through in-person data collection and GIS analysis.

IDCE Department Social Chair

• OOrganized social events for the department’s student body to foster community growth and met regularly with student council and department heads to ensure the student council runs smoothly. Lead a team in planning two end of the year graduation parties for 70+ people.

Teaching Assistant

• Teaching assistant for undergraduate course Getting to Zero: Clean Energy. Graded student assignments, attended lectures, held office hours, and supervised weekly discussion sections.
